  • Transport: The farmer collects the soil samples, and if 6 samples are collected, they are sent to the laboratory within 3 working days. A coordinate point must be attached to each sample.
  • Laboratory analysis The laboratory test takes 15-30 days, depending on the condition of the sample.
  • Analysis The data is processed digitally and the customer receives the results in different formats based on a preliminary needs assessment.

Benefits of collecting soil data

  • Selecting the right plants that are best adapted to the soil conditions based on soil type and fertility data.
  • Develop more effective crop protection strategies based on knowledge of soil conditions in the area, which can increase yields and reduce damage caused by pests.
  • To better assess soil nutrient availability and develop appropriate fertilisation and manuring programmes by analysing soil samples.
  • By modelling groundwater movement and runoff, farmers can predict the impact of precipitation on crop yields and soil moisture and plan irrigation based on this information.
